The new H&M Home store is located at Phoenix Mall of Asia, Yelahanka, Bengaluru
Bengaluru: Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) has opened its first outlet of H&M Home in South India, two years after the Swedish fashion giant launched its homeware items in India starting with New Delhi.
The store is located at Phoenix Mall of Asia, Yelahanka, Bengaluru, an industry official wrote on social media. Separately, the world’s second largest fashion brand has also opened a large H&M store in the same mall – that is already home to Victoria’s Secret, Mango and French Connection. H&M took its total number of stores in Bengaluru to eight with the opening of its latest outlet in Phoenix Mall of Asia.
“We are thrilled to share the launch of the first H&M Home in Bengaluru. H&M and H&M Home is now open at Phoenix Mall of Asia,” said Tanul Bheda, general manager of leasing at Phoenix Mall of Asia in a LinkedIn post while sharing images of the new store.
The Swedish fashion brand H&M was founded by Erling Persson in 1947.
In October 2015, the brand entered the Indian market and now stands with 61 stores across over 30 cities in the country, according to its official website. H&M also offers an online shopping experience through its website, app and also through fashion e-commerce company Myntra.
Recently, the retailer appointed Daniel Ervér as its new president and chief executive officer (CEO) followed by the stepping down of its previous CEO Helena Helmersson. Read more about it here.
