Kaura joined ABFRL in May 2022 and has been involved in building Tasva’s go-to-market strategy

New Delhi: Dhruv Kaura, the chief operating officer of Tasva ethnic wear brand at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail (ABFRL) Ltd., has decided to move on from the company as per his post on LinkedIn.

“”The only constant in life is change,” he wrote in his post. “Goodbyes are never easy, specially when you have put your heart and soul in a startup & taken it to an admirable level in a very short span of time,” he said referring to Tasva, a joint venture between ABFRL and fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani.

Men’s ethnicwear brand Tasva was started in 2021 with its first store in Bengaluru. It now has 65 stores across 30 cities, the latest at Oberoi Mall in Goregoan, Mumbai.

“I will always cherish my time spent building TASVA | Aditya Birla Group x Tarun Tahiliani and would take immense learnings to my future professional assignment. Onwards and Upwards,” he added.

Kaura mentioned on his LinkedIn profile that by the end of the financial year 2024, one can expect to see more than 100 Tasva stores across major trade zones of India. The reason for Kaura’s exit before achieving the goal remains unknown.

Kaura joined ABFRL in May 2022 and has been involved in building the brand’s go-to-market strategy. He has worked with Adidas for 7.5 years, and Bata for 5 years.
