Spencer’s has introduced new private labels for apparel at its flagship store at South City Mall, Kolkata.
“The labels, soon, will be extended to all our other stores across the country. The tagline for Spencer’s apparel vertical is ‘Aspirational yet affordable fashion’. We tend to service the essential and casual clothing needs of the consumer in the affordable fashion space,” Anurag Rajpal, business head, apparel vertical, Spencer’s Retail Ltd, told in an email to Indiaretailing.
The labels launched include Island Monks, a casualwear range for men and women; Mark Nicolus, a shirt range for ‘power’ dressing; Scorez for activewear; Detailz, a range of intimatewear and essential clothing and accessories for men and women; and Asankhya, an ethnicwear collection for women. The range is crafted through traditional techniques like kalamkari and Rajasthani block printing.
