New Delhi: Mumbai-based luxury beauty brand Baccarose has announced the introduction of Alexandre.J, a French luxury perfume brand to the Indian market bumping up its fragrance portfolio, as per a release by the company.

“We are thrilled to launch Alexandre.J Perfumes in India, offering a perfect blend of artistry and accessibility in niche perfumery. This collaboration resonates with the increasing demand for luxury fragrances in India,” said Kadambari Lakhani, director, Baccarose Perfumes & Beauty Products Pvt. Ltd.

Under this partnership, Baccarose will offer Alexandre.J’s distinct collections like The Collector, Art Deco and Art Nouveau to Indian consumers.

Launched in France in 2012, Alexandre.J takes pride in its 100% made-in-France production. The perfumes are crafted in Honfleur, Normandy, while the oil fabrication takes place in Grasse. The brand has a presence in over 85 countries.

Baccarose was founded in 1984 by Hemansu Kotecha and today claims to be a leader in distributing international luxury beauty brands in India. According to the company’s website, it caters to a multi-tier distribution network with 16 warehouses across India. It works with leading retailers like Sephora, Nykaa, Shopper Stop, and Lifestyle.

Baccarose has 5,000+ points of sale and also manages more than 65 brands on leading e-commerce platforms.
