Spread over 3,000 sq. ft. of retail area, the SSBeauty store by Shoppers Stop is situated at T2 of Bengaluru Airport

Bengaluru: Department store chain Shoppers Stop’s beauty retail platform, SSBeauty has opened its 11th store in India located at terminal two (T2) Bengaluru Airport, the company said in a press release on Monday.

Spread over 3,000 sq. ft. of retail area, the store is situated at the departure lounge of the airport. Apart from the beauty and skincare range, it features a dedicated treatment room, offering facials and spas, a nail bar and a lounge for travellers.

“Our flagship store at T2 Airport Bengaluru offers a vibrant world of glamour, designed for the contemporary, dynamic beauty enthusiast. SSbeauty’s commitment to excellence is embodied in every corner of the store, from the opulent treatment room to the trendsetting nail bar and the chic lounge,” said Biju Kassim, chief executive officer of beauty at Shoppers Stop.

The store is an essential part of the brand’s travel retail expansion strategy he added.

The luxury beauty store will be home to bands like Dior, Givenchy, Guerlain, Shiseido, Jo Malone, Tom Ford, and more. Moreover, American beauty retailer Kiehl’s is set to open its first shop-in-shop store in India within the SSBeauty T2 Airport location, the release added.

Shoppers Stop Ltd. was established in 1991 by property developer K Raheja Corp with its first store in Andheri, Mumbai. The retailer forayed into the beauty segment with the launch of SS Beauty in 2020.

Today, the company operates over 107 department stores in more than 56 cities, over 7 premium home concept stores, 88 speciality beauty stores of M.A.C, Estée Lauder, Bobbi Brown, Clinique, Jo Malone, Too Faced, SSBeauty, and 23 airport doors and 10 Intune stores occupying an area of 4.1 million sq. ft.
