Bengaluru: US-based casualwear brand U.S. Polo Assn. has launched its largest store in the country in Bengaluru, the company said in a press release on Friday. The stand-alone store, spanning over a retail space of 6190 sq. ft. across three floors, is situated in Jayanagar 4th Block East, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

“Our flagship store at Jayanagar isn’t just a brick-and-mortar expansion, it’s a statement and one-of-a-kind experience for Bengaluru customers. It speaks volumes about the prowess of USPA, a brand as legendary as the sport itself, and its commitment to Indian fans,” said Amitabh Suri, chief executive officer of U.S. Polo Assn. India.

“Bengaluru has been a fast-growing market for USPA over the past few years, making it the perfect choice to open our largest flagship store. Jayanagar is one of the largest residential and commercial hubs in the country,” added Suri.

The new outlet is the first store in India to showcase the brand’s Spring Summer 2024 womenswear collection live offline, which was previously available online. It also houses the entire range of product categories such as USPA Mainline, USPA Sport, Denim & Co., womenswear, footwear, kidswear, accessories, and innerwear.

The brand entered India in early 2007 and is licensed in the country by Arvind Fashions Ltd. Currently, its retail footprint in India includes more than 400 brand stores and over 2000 shop-in-shops across 200 cities in India.

Apart from US Polo Assn., Arvind Fashions has introduced international brands such as Arrow, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Flying Machine, and Sephora in India.

Founded in 1890, U.S. Polo Assn. is the official brand of the United States Polo Association (USPA), a non-profit governing body for the sport of polo in the United States. The company operates over 1,200 U.S. Polo Assn. retail stores across more than 190 countries worldwide.
