Bengaluru: Home furniture and decor brand WoodenStreet has launched its seventh store in Pune located at Creaticity Mall, the company said in a press release on Thursday. Spread across an area of 5,000 sq. ft., the new store marks WoodenStreet’s 97th store in India.

“WoodenStreet is gearing up to expand its footprint and we are thrilled to launch another offline store in Pune. With our new store, we aim to provide a quick and engaging shopping experience in which customers can browse our broad inventory and locate the appropriate pieces to alter their homes,” said Lokendra Ranawat, chief executive officer of WoodenStreet.

The store showcases a wide range of furniture options including sofas, dining sets, beds, wardrobes and home decor. It also plans to launch several new products exclusively at the Pune store.

The furniture retailer is currently aiming to open 300 stores in India in the next 36 months and is targeting a revenue of Rs 50 million. Last month, it opened its seventh store in Hyderabad. As part of the expansion project, it has hired several professionals to spearhead its operations in Hyderabad and plans to create over 50 more job opportunities shortly, WoodenStreet said in a previous press release.

Founded in 2015, WoodenStreet operates over 97 experience stores across India and has more than 350 delivery hubs, delivering a range of over 30,000 products.
