Meesho hires 150 candidates from various campuses

New Delhi: Softbank-backed e-commerce marketplace Meesho announced in a press release that it has hired 150 candidates in its current campus hiring cycle. The candidates were hired across diverse positions, including tech and product, analytics, business, fulfilment and experience, monetisation, finance, growth, and human resources.

Non-tech roles like strategy and operations witnessed an uptick in salary packages in comparison to last year, the company said.

“Meesho’s campus hiring has resumed on a significant scale, indicating the company’s strong trajectory in 2023 and robust road map for 2024,” Ashish Kumar Singh, chief human resources officer, Meesho, said.

“Over the years, we have a demonstrated history of hiring from the renowned campuses of the country and we are delighted to have restored the process,” Singh added.

The candidates were hired from various IITs including Bombay, Kharagpur, Kanpur, Madras, Roorkee and BHU, among others, as well as institutions like Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Allahabad, BITS Pilani, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Management Development Institute (MDI), and IIM Lucknow and Kozhikode. The company also hired from various NITs like Delhi, Bhopal, Surat, and Calicut.

Campuses that topped the chart on maximum number of hirings are Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Allahabad and IIT BHU, the company said.
