Westlife Foodworld appoints Sohel Nalwalla as Director – Supply Chain & QS

Mumbai: Westlife Foodworld Ltd. (formerly Westlife Development Ltd.) – owner and operator of McDonald’s restaurants in West and South India, announced the appointment of Sohel Nalwalla as the Director of Supply Chain and Quality Systems (QS). He will be reporting to the chief operating officer, Saurabh Kalra and will be responsible for procurement, quality service, warehousing and distribution at Westlife.

“We are delighted to have Sohel onboard. We believe his vast experience in supply chain management and extensive knowledge about the hospitality industry will undoubtedly bring great value to our organization,” said Saurabh Kalra, chief operating officer, Westlife Foodworld Ltd.

Prior to joining Westlife, Sohel was the head of Supply Chain Management and Procurement at the K-Hospitality Group for two years. Sohel has had stints of nearly 30 years with prominent organizations such as Sapphire Foods, Dodsal Hospitality, Sodexo, and Ambassador’s SkyChef. He has expertise in the domain of procurement, planning, warehousing and distribution, Quality Assurance, costings and client management.

Westlife Foodworld Ltd. is an Indian fast food restaurant holding company founded in 1982. As of December 2022, the company operates 341 restaurants in 52 cities, including 67 Drive-Thrus, 288 McCafés, and 205 Experience of the Future (EOTF) restaurants.
