TTK Prestige records a turnover of Rs 309 crore in Q1

Kitchen appliances company TTK Prestige, a part of Rs 100 crore TTK Group, has announced earnings for its first quarter ended 30th June, 2012 recording a turnover of Rs 309 crore as compared to Rs 237.42 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. It has thus registered a growth of over 30 percent.

The company achieved a profit before tax of Rs 43.86 crore registering an increase of 21 percent over the previous year’s profit before tax of Rs 36.32 crore. Post-tax profit of the company stood at Rs 30.68 crore registering a growth of 21 percent over last year’s post-tax profit of Rs 25.34 crore. The operating EBIDTA/sales margin stood at 15.7 percent while earnings per share for the quarter increased sharply to Rs 27.10 from 22.38. (P.Y.).

TTK Prestige also has retail showrooms called Prestige Smart Kitchens across the country. Prestige products are also sold overseas under the Manttra brand name and are available in the US in retail chains like Fred Meyer, Wal-Mart, K Mart, Target, Sears & Roebuck, Macy’s, JC Penny, Ames, Dillard’s, and Saks. The company presently has manufacturing facility in Hosur, Coimbatore, and Bangalore and 19 sales branches located across the country.
