Fitness One to increase presence

Fitness One, the Chennai-based health club has opened its first fitness studio in Hyderabad and has planned to expand operations by opening around 30 franchisee outlets in the current fiscal.

Announcing plans to media, Vivek Anand, managing director, Fitness One said: “Currently, we have 36 fitness centres across the country, while nine are company owned, seven are operated through franchisee model and the rest developed for corporate houses. During the fiscal, we are looking at increasing both the franchisee outlets as well as our tie ups with corporate houses.”

The company also plans to tie-up with around 40 corporates to set up and run captive gyms throughout the country.
