Renaissance retail opens silver jewellery shop

Lucera, the Sterling Silver Jewellery brand of Renaissance Retail, launched its exclusive flagship store at Select City Walk Mall at Saket in the capital as part of its plan to expand its presence in North India.

Speaking at a function marking the inauguration of the store, Hitesh Shah, Director, said Sterling Silver jewellery has become popular both as a fashion and lifestyle and the retail venture is keen on expanding its presence in North India and aim to open 250 exclusive Lucera branded stores across India by end 2010.

“We have already tied-up with Shoppers Stop and Lifestyle and are present in 26 locations across India. With the recent tie-up with Planet M, we will be present in more than 60 locations across India,” Desai said.

LUCERA, a brand of Renaissance Retail Venture Pvt. Ltd, offers contemporary designs in myriad collections to complement various moods of the modern and fashion conscious woman of today.

LUCERA or “luminous star “in Spanish, is for people who want in to wear something chic, elegant and beautiful at all times. It offers stunning yet affordable jewellery that is colorful, vibrant and most importantly one-of-a kind.

Inaugurating the store, ‘Chak De’ fame actress Vidya Malavde said, “Jewellery has always remained a woman’s most desired affinity. LUCERA offers so many beautiful designs’ that one can make a unique statement every time one wears it. You just tend to fall in love with the unique vibrant designs and patterns that it offers.”

LUCERA’s flagship store is spread over 500 sq feet and has around 1000 designs on display. The concept of all LUCERA stores represents a modern metaphor to represent the contemporary jewellery. The controlled settings and the artistic graphical ambience coupled with compact focal points, gives it a contemporary and a crisp retail environment.

As its Chief Executive Officer, Mr R.K.
