M&B Footwear enters Indore

M&B Footwear, one of the leading footwear retailers in India, has recently opened a store at Century-21 Mall, Indore. The store which is spread over an area of 1100 square feet houses variety of shoes ranging from formal, smart casual, semi and dress casuals, outdoor, fashion wear etc.

Talking exclusively to IndiaRetailing Inder Dev Singh Musafir, director, M&B Footwear Pvt Ltd says, “Walk-in-M&B is a distinctively unique international footwear retail chain, contemporary in terms of new age look and approach, aiming to fulfill the needs and aspirations of it’s already burgeoning target customer, through a bundle of well segmented offerings.”

The retailer is set to open its another store in Kannur, Kerala by the end of March and next in Alpha Mall, Amritsar by first week of April 2010, informs Vikas Bagga, VP – Marketing and Corporate Affairs, M&B Footwear Pvt Ltd. He further reveals, “The total investment in opening this store in Indore is Rs 20 lakhs in fixture and fittings and around Rs 40 lakhs in inventory.”

The buoyant and fast expanding footwear retail chain has currently 41 exclusive concept stores, located in premium malls and high streets, 97 shop-in-shop with large format stores such as Westside, Pantaloons, Shoppers Stop and Central and 62 factory direct showrooms in India. “The projected revenue is Rs 70 crore from all formats of retail in the current fiscal,” reveals Bagga.

M&B Footwear offers an array of distinctive international and national lifestyle footwear brands including Lee Cooper, Geox, ID, Provogue, Merrell and Firangi. Within a short span of just over a decade, M&B Footwear has phenomenally increased its footprint in India occupying a total retail space of 95,000 square feet in the cities including Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Calicut, Indore, Dehradun, Goa, Jaipur, Surat, Baroda, Lucknow, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Pune, Nagpur and Belgaum.
