The 26th International Footwear Conference in Chennai begins today.
The three-day conference will discuss design inputs while designing comfort footwear, latest technology in sports footwear, and emerging trends in retailing in India.
Commerce Secretary Gopal K Pillai will preside over the event that will have participation from nine major footwear manufacturing countries from Asia and a number of footwear importing countries such as the United States, Spain and Italy.
