Promart, the discount shop format of Provogue (India) Ltd, is planning to launch over 20 outlets in the next three years. This fiscal, the company plans to roll out over five Promart stores. Promart launched its first outlet, spread across 50,000 square feet, in Ahmedabad last week. These stores will offer 85 per cent of apparel and 15 per cent of non-apparel products.
Each Promart store will require an investment of around Rs 6-7 crore initially; sources say that the investment will increase with the growth of these shops. The company expects a turnover of over Rs 30 crore at the outset.
