The new retail range, aimed at general trade, supermarkets, and q-commerce, offers formats and flavours for both on-the-go snacking and at-home indulgence
Bengaluru: Global ice cream brand Baskin Robbins has strategically expanded its presence in the snacking portfolio in key Indian cities to meet the surging demand in quick commerce, the company said in a press release on Thursday.
The newly launched retail range targeted at general trade stores, supermarkets and quick commerce platforms features a variety of formats and flavours designed for on-the-go snacking as well as at-home indulgence.
The collection includes chocolate-based treats, fruit-inspired summer delights, traditional Indian flavours tailored to the country’s diverse palate and also packaged Belgian Chocolate milkshakes.
“The way consumers enjoy ice cream is evolving, and our new retail range is a reflection of this shift,” said Mohit Khattar, CEO of Graviss Foods Ltd. “This year, with the rapid rise of quick commerce and the increasing demand for premium treats at home, we are taking that vision forward by expanding our retail presence.”
“Our goal is to ensure that Baskin Robbins’ signature experience is available in more convenient formats, making it easier than ever for consumers to enjoy their favourite flavours whenever and wherever they choose,” he added.
With an impressive growth across all retail channels including quick commerce in FY25 and amidst expectations of a similar bump up in FY26, Baskin Robbins is strengthening its retail footprint across general trade, modern trade as well as deepening partnerships with quick commerce platforms.
Baskin Robbins entered India in 1993 through a joint venture with the Graviss Group and it opened its first manufacturing plant outside of North America, near Pune. The company is present in 290 cities with over 1000 parlours, making it one of the largest QSR chains in India and the largest in the ice cream industry by far.
In addition to India, Graviss also retails BR products in the SAARC region including Nepal, Srilanka, Maldives etc.
