Bengaluru:  Reliance Brands Ltd (RBL), the retail arm of the multinational conglomerate Reliance Industries, has launched a new outlet of the British luxury fashion house Jimmy Choo in Mumbai, the company wrote on social media on Tuesday.

Located at the biggest luxury mall in India, Jio World Plaza, in Bandra Kurla Complex, the brand’s latest store marks its third retail outlet opening in the city.

“Choo heard it right! Jimmy Choo’s newest store is now open at Jio World Plaza. Step into high-fashion heaven and elevate your wardrobe to unparalleled levels of elegance with the artistry of expert craftsmanship in every pair,” said RBL in a LinkedIn post while sharing images of the new store.

Founded in 1996, Jimmy Choo is a luxury brand specialising in shoes, handbags, accessories and fragrances. The brand entered the Indian market in 2007 and currently has six stores in the country across cities such as Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata.

RBL is a subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd. It began operations in 2007 with a mandate to launch and build global brands in luxury to premium segments across fashion and lifestyle.

The company has forged long-term exclusive partnerships across multiple sectors with global and Indian brands such as Ritu Kumar, Bottega Veneta, Tiffany & Co., Valentino, Versace, Rahul Mishra, Armani, Balenciaga, Boss and Zegna among others.
