Koovs PLC, the London-listed parent of Indian lifestyle e-commerce venture Koovs, has appointed Gaurav Nabh as its Marketing Director.
Nabh, who was CEO of Quasar before this, will be based in India and operate out of the company’s headquarters in Gurgaon. In his new role, Nabh will lead the marketing division, which will include brand communication and content, digital marketing and consumer engagement programmes.
Nabh has over 15 years of experience in marketing through the digital and mobile medium as a brand marketer and agency partner. He was also part of the core team responsible for launching Virgin Mobile and Telenor in India. He has worked with international brands such as Proctor & Gamble, Nestle, Colgate and Domino’s Pizza on their digital launches in the market and has over eight years’ experience in mobile marketing.
A graduate of the Thames Valley University, London, UK (2000-2001), Nabh joined the ITprenuers on completing his Business Management course.
He worked as Project Manager and Business Analyst with organisations as diverse as UNDP in Netherlands and Pink Elephant Inc. in Canada among others. In 2001 he became Global Marketing Manager at ITprenuers.
In 2006 he moved to NIIT as Marketing Manager (Enterprise Marketing Solutions). In 2007 he moved again – this time as Online Marketing Manager at Virgin Mobile India and was part of the core team that launched Virgin Mobiles. In 2009 he moved to head online and mobile marketing for Uninor.
Two years later, in 2009 he moved to head Quasar, a digital agency, part of the WPP group. In Dec 2015 he moved as Marketing Director Koovs.
