Five Star Chicken introduces fusion snack innovation

Five Star Chicken, the Thailand based food company, has rolled out a new food snack known as Schezwan Vada Pav, a combination of Thai and Indian flavours, in India.

The Schezwan Vada Pav is prepared with Schezwan sauce and Five Star Chicken’s secret spices and other ingredients to give it a Chinese twist. The dish is served hot and crispy with veg mayonnaise and Schezwan sauce. The Schezwan Vada Pav’ is priced at Rs 39 (exclusive of taxes) and is available across select Five Start Chicken outlets in Bangalore.

Five Star Chicken was founded in the year 1985 in Thailand. The brand is one of the subsidiary food companies and brands of Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF), a Thai multi-national conglomerate.

In India, Five Star Chicken launched its first outlet in November 2012 in Bangalore. At present, it has 240 outlets in India across Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi and in towns such as Mangaluru, Mysore, Chikamagaluru, Mandya and Chintamani in Karnataka and also in Salem, Coimbatore and Erode in Tamil Nadu.

Adapting to the local taste and flavour and developing products, which appeals to masses has been one of the key strength of the brand. With a growing network of stores, Five Star Chicken is becoming a strong neighbourhood brand offering great quality chicken at affordable prices to all consumers. The brand offers a wide range of chicken recipes in spicy Indian flavors as well as Asian and Thai flavours.
