Foodhall Opens Second Outlet in Delhi at DLF Place, Saket

Future Group’s food retail chain Foodhall has opened a new store at DLF Place, Saket, New Delhi. Spread over 5,000 sq. ft., this is the sixth Foodhall store in India and second in Delhi. The first Foodhall outlet in Delhi is located at DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.

Foodhall offers fresh and packaged foods and covers international and pan-Indian cuisine. It stocks avocados from South America and over 60 varieties of cheese to freshly made authentic breads by in house chefs. The outlet also has a frozen section and delicatessen selling cheese and poultry. Breads, snacks, desserts and savories, both Indian and international, are also available at the store. The new store has an exclusive seating area called the Foodhall Deli which it claims is the first of its kind cafe space at any food retail outlet offering in house blended coffees, meals, salads, sandwiches, savories and pastries, etc.

Other highlights at the store include live counters with a cafe style seating serving freshly cooked food, ASA spice station offering a selection of over 150 rare and exotic spices and herbs, Chado Tea Bar, a non-vegetarian section with a range of fresh and frozen offerings, a wine and beer section, fresh imported cheese, Paneer section, Mezze platters, Mexican platters and Antipasti platters, local and imported exotics fruits and vegetables, health conscious food, and exotic and Indian F&V section including potted herbs.

Launched in May 2011 in Mumbai, it targets the well-travelled urban Indian consumers who love to experiment with global cuisine. It currently has stores in Mumbai, Bengaluru, New Delhi, Pune and Gurgaon.

Future Group operates retail chains including Central, Big Bazaar, Food Bazaar, Home Town and eZone. The group operates over 16 million square feet of retail space in over 95 cities and towns and 60 rural locations across India. The group’s retail formats connect over 300 million customers to over 30,000 small, medium and large enterprises that supply products and services to its retail chains.
