DLF Brands will open its first multi-brand anchor store in Mumbai at Neptune Magnet mall, Bhandup. The store “Aveneu” will spread over 19,000 sq.ft. and sell international fashion labels. The company has already tied up with brands in the luggage, watches, perfumes, and sportswear categories.
Commenting on the development, Dipak Agarwal, Chief Executive, Operations and Strategy, DLF Brands, said: “This is the right time and opportunity for us to launch in Mumbai. Neptune Magnet mall is emerging as a destination for shoppers who are looking for new brands/formats and we have got an excellent placement for our store in the mall.”
Speaking on the occasion, Susil Dungarwal, CEO, Neptune Magnet mall said that the mall is happy to introduce DLF Brands to Mumbai-ites. “This is DLF’s first such store in Mumbai. We want to give the best of services and brands to our visitors and patrons. With DLF Brands’ entry, Mumbai’s retail space will surely experience a revolution,” he added.
DLF Brands is a subsidiary of realty major DLF. According to the company officials, the company has brought international brands such as Boggi Milano, DKNY, Alcott, Sunglass Hut, ELC, and Mothercare to India. Till now, the company focussed on opening exclusive stores for global fashion brands like DKNY, Alcott, and Sunglasses Hut. DLF Brands currently operates stand-alone stores for 11 global brands in India.
Neptune Magnet mall in Bhandup spreads over 10,56,000 sq.ft. The mall claims to have signed up over 180 national and international brands. The mall has four themed atriums, a six-screen multiplex, two-level food court with an FEC of over 70,000 sq.ft., and two levels of parking.
