HyperCity expands in Bangalore

K Raheja Group-promoted hypermarket chain HyperCity has expanded its presence in Bangalore by opening its second outlet in the city. Located at Royal Meenakshi Mall on Bannerghatta Road, the new store is spread across 60,000 sq.ft and offers over 44,000 products across categories such as food & grocery, home & furniture, electronics, sports, toys, stationery and apparel.

On the store launch, Mark Ashman, CEO, HyperCity Retail (India) Ltd, said, “HyperCity is committed to fulfilling the aspirations of the local people by providing them a world-class shopping experience. Our customers will enjoy the convenience of international shopping from over 44,000 products at great value under one roof.”

With this launch, HyperCity boasts the presence of 10 stores across India, including three in the southern region.

The hypermarket chain houses international brands such as Waitrose and Raleigh. The store has developed a suite of exclusive brands across all categories – Fresh Basket in food, Ebano and Avorio in homeware, Maxit in sports, Technix in appliances, City, RiverInc in fashion, among others.
