ASTM Int. announces textile conference

ASTM International, together with Atlas Material Testing Solutions and DyStar, will hold a one-day conference on Textiles – Light and Weatherfastness, on January 21, 2011, in Mumbai, India.

The conference`s topics of light and weather fastness were chosen to address the growing need for technical and high-performance textiles. The events will provide a significant opportunity to learn about various aspects of these cutting-edge issues as well as enable a unique information exchange.

Conference speakers include: Dr. Andreas Giehl, DyStar Germany; Dr. Martin Bide, University of Rhode Island; Professor Josep Valldeperas, INTEXTER Spain; Adrian Meili, TESTEX AG Switzerland; Dr. John Hauser, North Carolina State University; Dr. Wolfgang Schiller, Germany Fastness Committee DEK; and two invited DyStar speakers for light fastness chemistry and automotive aspects.
