Arvind Limited promoted value apparel retailing arm Megamart has drawn up expansion plans for its large format stores, reports The Hindu.
“We have planned to set up 25-30 such large format stores in top 20 cities in the next four years and we are planning to invest Rs 400 crore (Rs 4 billion) in the next five years,” quoted KE Venkatachalapathy, CEO, Megamart & Retail, in the report.
Spread over an area of 50,000-60,000 square feet, the Megamart stores retail apparels across all segments.
