Consumer Wallet Share 2007 released

The Indian Wallet & Brand Share, a study by IMAGES-AC Nielsen on India’s premium households, was released by Hemchandra Javeri, president, Madura Garments, along with GD Singh, director IMAGES F&R, at The Shop.

The Consumer Wallet Share is a macro view of the spending shares of adults (25-50 years) and youth (16-24 years) among the top 2.3 per cent of urban India households. It is meant to provoke and trigger thoughts that can develop into consumer insights.

The study was conducted by Images in association with AC Nielsen, the leading market research organisation in India, and is based on more than 5,000 interviews spread across Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and eight tier II cities including Ludhiana, Lucknow, Jaipur, Kochi, Pune, Nagpur, Ahmedabad and Patna.
