Kantian Food and Hospitality India Pvt Ltd has rolled out four Nola on the Run outlets at Shakespeare Sarani, Baguihati, Lake Town and Kestopur with the flagship restaurant at Star Theatre in Kolkata. In a year’s time, the company plans to open outlets at Peerless Axis, Lake Mall, Mani Square and Silver Springs in Kolkata. The company plans to operate 30 to 35 such eateries and retail outlets across the country in the next two years and also plans to foray into the US and UK markets.
The investment per outlet is estimated at around Rs.8–10 crore for the fast food joints, which will occupy around 1,200 sq ft space on average each. The company operates seven different formats called Nola World, Nola Indosinha, Nola Far East, Nola Baluchi, Nola Desi (regional cuisine), Nola Club (pub and lounge) and Nola on the Run (fast food).
All fast food items for the restaurants will be sourced from a central kitchen at the Howrah Food Park and about an acre of land has been acquired by the company for this facility
