Circuit City has planned a string of changes to align the company better, so that it can meet the varying nature of the consumer electronics retail marketplace, and also improve its financial performance. Sources in the company said that they have targeted to close seven under performing domestic superstores and plans to close a distribution centre located in Louisville, Kentucky.
The company has planned to return its 92 Rogers Plus stores to the Rogers Wireless fascia, whilst closing approximately 62 under-performing company-owned stores in Canada.
