Mr. Bipin Gurnani has left Piramyd Megastore and is said to have joined Future Group, as CEO Business Development Joint Venture. Mr. Gurnani, 37, was the CEO of Piramyd Megastore the lifestyle retail division of Piramyd Retail Limited.
Mr. Gurnani completed his graduation from Lucknow University and holds an Associate Diploma in Sales and Marketing from Australia. He has also completed his Graduate Training Program from Indian Hotels – Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi.
Mr. Gurnani has over 12 years of experience in Hospitality and 6 years in Retail. Prior to joining Piramyd, he has worked with some well-known hospitality chains around the world namely; Taj Group of Hotels, Ramada Grand Hotel, Australia moving on, Mr. Gurnani joined Dev’s Nirman as GM – Operations making his presence felt in the Retail Sector.
Mr. Gurnani joined Piramyd as General Manager – Operations in 2001 and then moved to the position of COO in 2005 and was responsible for complete Operations, Buying and Merchandising and Logistics for both “Piramyd Megastore” (Department store format) & “TruMart” (Supermarket and Convenience store format). He has been the key force behind benchmarking quality and customer service standards and has played a key role in starting up the companies FHPC (Food Retail) division and has successfully launched the brand “TruMart”. He was recently elevated and was responsible for driving the aggressive growth plans as the CEO for Piramyd Megastore.
