Must Read

Note on cash memos and bills reading `goods once sold will not be taken back or exchanged’, will not be seen anymore in Kerala, as the state government has directed traders and retailers to stop carrying this announcement, according to an official press release.

“Stringent action would be taken under the Consumer Protection Act against those who violate this order,” says the release.

The government has given directives in this regard to the Controllers of the Legal Metrology Department and the Commercial Tax Commissioner.
