Bengaluru: Department store chain Shoppers Stop has launched its first retail store in Kota, Rajasthan, the company said in a press release on Tuesday. The outlet is spread across 22527 sq. ft. of carpet area and is located on the Jhalawar road.
“Being an educational hub, Kota is full of students coming from all parts of the country, who are brand cautious and want to keep their wardrobe updated. This new store will help us to cater to the increasing demand of these young fashionistas,” said Kavindra Mishra, chief executive officer of Shoppers Stop Ltd.
“With plans for nationwide expansion, our goal is to make fashion accessible to people across India. We remain committed to providing our valued customers with unique offerings and a memorable in-store experience,” added Mishra.
The store retails over 500 international, national and exclusive brands spread across multiple categories such as fashion, beauty, home decor and lifestyle.
The store will feature brands including Levi’s, Jack and Jones, USPA, Rare Rabbit, Spykar, Louis Phillipe, Allen Solly, Madame among others; beauty and skincare brands like Maybelline, Colorbar, Loreal, Arcelia, Revlon, Renee, Myglamm Lakme; timepieces from Armani Exchange, Titan, Timex, Fossil, Casio and Guess; fragrances from Armani, Burberry, YSL, Bulgari, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Issey, Chopard, Hugo, Boss, Mercedes, Jaguar and Playboy.
In addition, it offers a dedicated personal shopper lounge and introduces the Citizen Club membership, Shoppers Stop’s famed loyalty programme. It also offers The Black Card Membership which comes with a range of privileges such as reimbursed parking, early access to sales, exclusive event invitations, and a one-year exchange policy, catering to those seeking premium benefits.
Shoppers Stop Ltd. was established in 1991 by property developer K Raheja Corp with its first store in Andheri, Mumbai. The retailer forayed into the beauty segment with the launch of SS Beauty in 2020.
