Ola Money in pact with e-tailers for online payments

Money, the digital payment solution from transport aggregator , has announced that its partnership with leading online marketplaces , and , will allow customers to pay with one touch from their Money wallet.

The company is looking to take on entities such as Paytm, which has a little over 120 million users and is currently the largest digital wallet provider in the country, and Freecharge, owned by e-commerce marketplace Snapdeal.

Customers will also be eligible for an additional 10 per cent discount (valid till June 21) when they use on eBay, the company said in a statement.

At the time of payment on any of these platforms, both web and app, customers will get to choose Ola Money as one of their payment options. On selection, a one touch check-out, if on the app, and a simple OTP authentication, if on the web, completes the payment.

The Ola Money app can also be used for pre-paid mobile recharge across all operators in India and for sending money to family and friends.

The Ola Money app is already being used for mobile  recharges, peer to peer transfers, ticketing and more across a wide range of online and offline merchants.
