    Lifestyle brand Esprit to invest US$ 2 mn on expansion in next two years

    Esprit Time and Jewels, one of the world’s leading brands in watches and jewels, has plans to invest over US$ 2 mn for its pan-India expansion in the next two years by opening 25 stand-alone boutiques across leading metros and tier I and II cities.

    Speaking exclusively to IMAGES Retail, Biren Vaidya, MD, Rose Group of Companies and Egana India, said: “We plan to open 25 new brand boutiques in the next two years. This year we plan to launch outlets in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Bangalore.” The Rose Group of Companies has the exclusive marketing and distribution rights for Esprit Timewear in India.

    He further added: “We follow unconventional marketing and distribution methods and it was heartening to see the brand become a leader in the segment. India is witnessing a change in consumer’s mindset. The consumer is expecting to have a unique shopping experience similar to the global counterpart. Today, we are ready to take the next leap of having dedicated shopping zones for not just fashion apparel but also for fashion watches and jewelry – Esprit Time and Jewels is an answer to that need.”

    The brand is eying the accessory zone in the upcoming and leading malls, and also selective high street areas in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore.
