Earthwear, Kolkata-based ethnic wear brand, has opened its first outlet in Kolkata at New Alipore. The new store stocks work wear and basic clothing for the working woman and clothing for formal occasions like dinner and cocktail parties.
Vinita Ganeriwala Gupta, Owner, Earthwear, said: “We at Earthwear are dedicated to our aim of providing the best in fashion and at the same time make craft affordable to every Indian woman. The effort is to bring rural Bengal to the doorstep of urban Kolkata.”
Earthwear is the brainchild of the husband–wife duo Manav and Vineeta Gupta. They have been manufacturing and supplying casual wearables for the last six years to leading departmental stores under their own brand name and now aim to grab a foothold in the retail industry.
