Sainsbury’s ‘Local’ opens in Manchester

UK-based food retailer Sainsbury’s has recently opened its ‘Local’ store at Oxford Road, Manchester. The 1,800-sq.ft store offers fresh produce, from fruit and vegetables to meat and fish, as well as sandwich meal deals and high-quality convenience foods.

Store manager Mike Hayes said, “We’re excited about meeting our customers, as well as community organisations that we’re hoping to make a difference to in the coming months.”

The new store has created 20 jobs for locals.
