Hair can add beauty, with its styling and form. Diandra Soares, a model at both Lakmé and Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Weeks came up with her style iconic alternative: No hair.
“Its not a publicity stunt. I am a very impulsive person and this January I decided to find a barber shop,” says the model Diandra Soares who walked the ramp with a bald head.
So what made her to pull off this look?
“Ten years ago when I did it, people said I looked like Persis Khampatta. Ten years later, they are saying the same thing!” she comments. I hope that others will be bold enough to try this and someone turns to them and says – `You look like Diandra Soares!`
Other women who have tried the bald look include: Shabana Azmi, Nandita Das, Adhuna Akhtar, Britney Spears and Rihanna.
