The retail chain's stores will offer facilities like contact-less payment as well as a more personalised shopping experience to customers

Following the space addition, the firm would have 31 Shopper’s Stop stores and seven Hypercity stores, B S Nagesh, vice chairman, Shopper’s Stop, said at a conference.

The group would also hire 750 to 1,000 employees by March for the front end in these stores, Nagesh said.

“The business environment is turning from stable to positive. More customers are coming into the stores but I see real momentum coming only by April-June quarter next year,” he adds.
