Shoppers Stop, one of India’s premier retail chains with over 250 apparels and accessories brands, has chosen the global data warehouse and analytic appliances major Netezza Corporation to avail a comprehensive sales data analytics. The development is a part of company’s plan to expand retail operations across India.
As part of this deal, Netezza will develop an exclusive data warehouse for Shoppers Stop to provide a complete solution to manage latter’s loyalty card program that include managing sales data with ease and simplicity.

Earlier, Shoppers Stop used to manage its data through a Structured Query Language (SQL) server, which became inadequate to manage its growing data.
