Following the salon retail strategy, Label.m, a haircare brand from the house of Toni&Guy, will be present in India through 20 niche salons.
The company is in talks with various salons to stock its products. Label.m sells 40 haircare products including shampoos, conditioners and gels, all priced between Rs 675 and Rs 1,475.
According to Aston Baird, business development manager of Label.m, the company has already tied up with salons ‘B Blunt’ and ‘Hakim’s Alim’ in Mumbai, and with ‘June Tomkins’ and ‘Head Turners’ in Kolkata.
Label.m is also planning to launch 10 new haircare products by 2009, in addition to its 40 existing products. It will also launch ‘Label Men’, a range of shampoos and conditioners specially formulated for men.
At present, Label.m products are available at over 3,000 salons in 42 countries.
