The partnership will provide OCM a technical and manufacturing support and develop and operate an export programme for the sale of OCM products in the US, Europe and Asian markets.
“Burlington and we are proficient in worsted wool products. This alliance can contribute immensely in lending us an international edge,” said, Rajeev Surana, CEO, OCM India.
By this collaboration the company expects that exports will start contributing 25 per cent to the overall revenue and will help to recapture the domestic apparel market this year. The new partner will also invest Rs 12-crore to double the OCM manufacturing capacity taking it to 4 million metres per annum from 2 million meters.
