FACE PEELS

BioSurface Peel by Dermalogica

Technology used: BioSurface Peel is formulated with the most progressive technology available to minimise the downtime, while still attaining the exceptional results. It’s a biologically active, biphasic peel that helps to reduce fine lines, pigmentation and address acne breakouts. This peel can be used only by trained therapists.

Efficacy of the product: The first step of the peeling process uses an enzyme solution, which begins to loosen the skin cells and then the acid active is applied which penetrates better and minimises irritation. Not only is there a combination of AHAs and BHAs, along with other ingredients that calm and hydrate the skin, the peel is pH focused to attain maximum results of these acid actives without using a higher concentration. A lower pH solution with lower concentration of acid actives is used to further reduce irritation and downtime. At the end of the treatment, as decelerator is used to de-activate the acid active and begin the repairing process.
