Rimi Nayak Revamps the Fashion Studio in Kolkata

Must Read

Womenswear label, Rimi Nayak India has revamped her studio in Cornfield Road. She has designed the studio with discarded industrial junk which is a testimony to the fact that everyone and everything deserves a second chance. Keeping this aspect in mind the designer has came up with an idea of rejuvenating her store around the theme of Imagine More which blends in perfectly with her design philosophy of using every day mundane objects by giving it a unique twist.

Discarded PVC water pipes are reborn as hanging fixtures, used showers and water taps are rechristened as light fittings, a throwaway commode transforms itself into a seating furniture, an old wash basin into a table and a broken bathtub finds a new lease of life as a comfortable sofa.

Commenting on the same Rimi Nayak says, “I am delighted to bring to you my store with elegant interiors, a real-world example of how we can use daily use items in a transparent way to create a truly magical shopping experience. It has always been our endeavor to enhance customer experience at our store. Now that the store is no longer just an idea, I can finally invite more people to share in the vitality and beauty that I see every day.  Looking forward to offer customers a more intimate and convenient shopping experience with this utter change.”
