MyGrahak.com extends online groceries for Delhi & NCR residents

MyGrahak.com; an online retailer of food, grocery and household items; which catered only to South Delhi residents is now open for the people of Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR). The portal currently has 8,500 registered families and offers around 10,000 SKUs(stock keeping units).

Speaking on the occasion, Ambuj Jhunjhunwala, Founder and CEO, MyGrahak shopping online, said: “MyGrahak is a firm that intends to change the nature of consumer retail from ‘transactional sales’ to ‘sales through relationships.’ This is what helps us differentiate and gives us higher bill sizes. Our supply chain allows us to offer free home delivery for our customers. We don’t only sell household products; we aim to use technology to create a global retail destination by 2015.”

Founded in December 2010 by Jhunjhunwala, MyGrahak plans a turnover of Rs 1,000 crore by 2015. The e-commerce portal records 5,000 transactions every month and has been growing at a rate of over 30 percent month-on-month. The average bill size for the online platform is Rs 1,100. It has also witnessed an increase in loyalty rate as repeat purchases on the portal have gone up from 30 to 50 percent in last two months.

MyGrahak.com manages a 7,000 sq.ft. warehouse in Delhi and targets to increase its SKUs to 35,000.
