VLCC launches personal care factory in Haridwar

VLCC – healthcare announced the launch of its personal care factory located at SIDCUL, Haridwar, Uttarakhand. VLCC has invested Rs.15 crore in this new unit which is spread across 10,000 square meters. Through this new set up the company expects to generate employment of over 250 for the residents of Uttarakhand. The factory will roll out high end skin, body & hair care products catering to the domestic and international markets of VLCC, such as Middle East, Southeast Asia, the European Union, Africa & America.

Speaking on the occasion Vandana Luthra, founder and mentor, VLCC said, “We are extremely delighted to start the Haridwar facility, we hope that with its commencement we are able to open up avenues for the company on a larger scale in the international market and unexplored market in the country. The new unit will add to the production capacity of our personal care division and improve the revenue generation through exports. We look forward to generate employment for the residents of Uttarakhand.”

VLCC has ventured into the personal care cosmetics business five years back and today is a leading player in the Indian market. Its products are sold through over 25000 retails outlets spread across the country.
