Its flagship sweet Mysurpak and a range of sweets and savouries will be made available at select Spencer’s Daily stores in the city starting November 1.
Speaking to the media on the tie-up, M. Murali, Managing Director of Sri Krishna Sweets, said this arrangement will hold good for other markets too over a period of time. “As we have kitchens at Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore and Hyderabad, it will be easy for us to supply to Spencer’s stores in other cities as well,” he said.
Spencer’s Daily already has similar arrangements with Ganguram in Kolkata and Chandu Sweets in Mumbai.
Sri Krishna Sweets has also tied up with Indian Oil Corporation to have small corner stores in select Indian Oil retail outlets in the city. Besides, it also launched a restaurant – Rasam – in the city and plans to expand it to other localities, Murali said.
