Anita Hassanandani, the television actor, has partnered with High Spirit Commercial Ventures in Mumbai, a bag manufacturer and exporter which retails its label, Priority Bags, through offline retail chains, to launch her label TheBag-Talk.com.
The online venture will carry signature lines from television celebrities including working professionals ranging from Ekta Kapoor and trekking and adventure gear from Rannvijay of MTV Roadies.
TheBag-Talk.com is a joint venture of Anita Hassanandani and Tushar Jain of HSCV. The brand has been created with a seed capital of Rs 4 crore with contract manufacturing from HSCV’s current set-up.
The platform will retail its in-house brand as well as other brands. The company already has established presence across 43 locations in the country with its own depots. This is expected to facilitate quick delivery and easy returns for the customers. The online brand is also expected to sign up with larger marketplaces for further customer acquisition.
