Must Read

Brazil’s retail sales rose 8.5 percent in September this year compared to the same period last year, according to official figures.

However, this was lower than the revised 10.3 percent gain in August, the national statistic agency said in a release distributed in Rio de Janeiro.

The sales increase was higher than the 8.0 percent median forecast in a Bloomberg survey of 31 economists.
