Cartridge World to launch 250 stores by ’10

Australian retailing chain for printers Cartridge World plans to open 250 stores in the Indian sub-continent by 2010, according to a top company official.

Addressing a press meet after the inauguration of Cartridge World store in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Naveen Rakhecha, CEO, South Asia, Cartridge World, said “We are planning to expand very aggressively in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. At least 250 stores will be opened by 2010.”

He further said, “The store will offer services that will include refilling inkjet cartridges and reloading laser cartridges – both backed with money-back guarantees, along with printer repairs and free customer education on cartridge care. The stores would also stock OEM inkjet and laser cartridges, high quality speciality paper, OEM printers and other office supplies.”
