Reliance Digital to add 55 more stores

Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Retail will open 55 stores on home appliances and electronic goods in next two years. According to reports, the proposed plan, with pan-India presence, will operate under Reliance Digital, the consumer durables arm of Reliance Retail.

Further, the multi-brand showrooms stacked with a wide variety of home appliances and electronic goods will also include mobile phones and iPods. Meanwhile, the amount of investment to execute the plans remains undisclosed.

Reliance Retail currently operates in 15 retail formats that include Reliance Autozone, Delight, Reliance Digital, Reliance Footprint, Reliance Fresh, iStore, Reliance Mart, Sahkari Bhandar, Reliance Super, Reliance TimeOut, Reliance Trends, Vimal, Reliance Wellness and Living Homeware.
