New Delhi: Homegrown socks brand Balenzia announced in a press release the launching of its 19th store in Kolkata, West Bengal. The store is located at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport.
This is the brand’s first store in the eastern part of India.
“The launch of our store at Kolkata airport is a significant milestone in Balenzia’s journey of retail expansion,” says Shruti Gupta, head of strategy, Balenzia. “This strategic move not only marks our inaugural venture into the eastern region but also capitalizes on the unique advantages of being located at one of the country’s busiest airports.”
The store is also a part of the brand’s strategy to open its store at all major airports and high-traffic locations in the country, Gupta said.
The brand is a part of the Jagran Group and offers curated socks for men, women, and children. It has over 70 licensed designs, including those from DC Comics, Warner Brothers, HBO, Cartoon Network, Disney, Marvel, Playboy, among others.
