Central Warehousing Corporation rents out space to Amazon


The (CWC), aiming to tap new area of business, has decided to rent out 90,000 sq ft space to e-commerce giant for 10 years. will be utilising the space to store its items.

As per the conditions, Amazon will carry out improvement of facilities including installing fire fighting equipment, improvement of roof and maintain the space at its own expense.

CWC has capacity to store about 10 million tonnes and about 80-85 per cent of its space is usually booked.
